Wispr Flow is another voice dictation app. If you're comparing tools for writing by voice, here's what Speedy Flow offers, and how to try it in two minutes. No big speeches: just what our app does.

Speedy Flow at a glance

Speedy Flow is a voice dictation and meeting note-taking app for Mac, published by Otopcy LLC. You hold a key, speak naturally, and clean text appears wherever your cursor is. During your meetings, it listens, transcribes and writes the meeting notes.

Voice dictation on Mac, in all your apps

Hold fn, talk, release: it's written, in Gmail, Slack, Notion, Google Docs, WhatsApp, ChatGPT or your code editor. You can also use ⌥ Space or the mic in the floating bar.

  • Cleaned-up text: the “um”s, repetitions and sentences you corrected midway disappear; punctuation and capital letters are added.
  • Dictionary: your client names, brands and acronyms always spelled right, and the words you correct are remembered.
  • Snippets: say “my address” and your full address is typed out.
  • Speeds and Transformations: the right tone in every app, and a rewrite applied to your dictations.
  • History: every dictation is kept on your Mac; you can undo the rewrite or run the transcription again.

Meeting notes, in the same app

Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack, FaceTime, WhatsApp: Speedy Flow notices when a meeting starts and offers to transcribe it. No bot joins the call; the audio is captured on your Mac. When it ends, your meeting notes are ready: summary, key points, decisions and action items to check off. Then ask the meeting your questions, or export the notes to Markdown for Notion or Docs. A multilingual speech recognition app

Speedy Flow's interface is in French for now; this site and its guides are available in English, French and Spanish. Automatic transcription handles 50+ languages, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Swahili, Chinese and Japanese. Your language is detected automatically, and you can switch from English to French in the same sentence.
