Why your notes stay on your Mac
What Speedy Flow keeps, what it doesn't, and why we made that choice from day one.

A dictation is often an email to a client, a personal message, an idea that's still fragile. A meeting means decisions, figures, sometimes sensitive topics. So from the very start, we set one simple rule: what you say belongs to you.
What stays with you
Your dictation history, your meeting notes, your dictionary, your style memory and your meeting memory are stored on your Mac. They aren't copied to our servers.
What passes through, and how
To turn your voice into text, the audio is sent to the transcription engine, then deleted. Only counters — durations and word counts — are kept to apply your plan's limits.
We don't sell your data, we don't use it to train models, and we don't listen to your recordings.
You stay in control
- Every learned word can be removed from the dictionary.
- Meeting memory can be erased in one click.
- Learning from corrections and from meetings can be turned off in settings.
