Your expertise is worth more
than your typing speed

You speak far faster than you type. Letters, reports, client emails: say them, review them, send them.

By profession

Voice to text,
shaped to your day

Same tools, different uses. Every example below is illustrative, with no real data.

Lawyers and legal teams

Letters and drafts,
at the speed of your voice

Client emails, letters to opposing counsel, contract templates, research memos: dictate into your word processor, your practice software or Mail. Hesitations and self-corrections are handled.

  • For a client meeting on video, the “Client meeting” template writes the summary, decisions and checkable action items.
  • Add client names, acronyms and the vocabulary of your practice area to the dictionary.

For a workshop or client check-in on video from your Mac, Speedy Flow transcribes the conversation and writes meeting notes using the template you pick: client meeting, team meeting, brainstorm…

  • Then ask for the follow-up email, or export the notes as Markdown to Notion or Docs.
  • Transformations rewrite a passage in one move, for example to translate it into French.

Client reminders,
without retyping them

Document requests, explanations for a client, file notes: just say them, and clean text lands in your email or your accounting software.

  • Snippets insert a full block of text from a keyword: say “document checklist” and your usual paragraph is typed in full.
  • Add industry acronyms and client names to the dictionary.

Site reports,
dictated when you’re back

Back at your Mac, dictate your site visit report in one go, then review and refine. For project meetings on video, the notes capture decisions and checkable action items.

  • Self-corrections are understood: “no, make that next Thursday.”
  • Add acronyms and the names of the contractors on site to the dictionary.

  • For a buyer meeting on video, the notes capture the criteria discussed and the next steps.

Coaches and therapists

Session notes,
without the keyboard

  • Before transcribing a session, inform the person and get their consent.
  • Check that this use fits your own professional secrecy obligations and the rules of your profession.

Clean text

Hesitations, repetitions and mid-sentence corrections are removed. Punctuation follows.

Your jargon, spelled right

The dictionary remembers your terms, acronyms and proper names. Words you correct can join it too.

One keyword, the whole text: signature, contact details, the paragraph you write ten times a week.

Meeting notes

Audio is captured on your Mac, with no bot in the call. The notes follow the template that fits the meeting.

50+ languages

Language detected automatically. Switch from English to French in the same sentence: the text keeps up.

Privacy

Your data, in plain words

Professional secrecy matters, whatever your field. Here is exactly what Speedy Flow does with your voice and your text, according to our privacy policy, and what remains yours to check.

What Speedy Flow does

  • Stored on your Mac. Dictations, transcripts, meeting notes and summaries stay on your computer. We keep no copy.
  • Online transcription. Audio is sent encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) to cloud speech recognition engines (currently Groq, with OpenAI as a fallback), processed in memory and never written to our servers. OpenAI may keep data for up to 30 days, only to detect abuse.
  • No training by default. The “Help improve Speedy Flow” option is off by default and never shares audio or full text.
  • Safeguarded transfers. Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, with recognized safeguards.

What remains your call

  • Your professional obligations. Check that this use is compatible with your professional secrecy, the rules of your profession and those of your organization. Speedy Flow claims no profession-specific certification and no health-data certification (such as HIPAA in the United States or HDS in France).
  • Participants’ consent. Before transcribing a meeting, a call or a session, inform the people present and get their consent: it is required in many countries.
  • Review. Always review the text before sending it or adding it to a file.

FAQ

Questions from professionals

Can I dictate into my industry software?

Yes, anywhere you can type text: practice software, business tools, word processor, email, browser… The text is typed wherever your cursor is. The app asks for Accessibility access to do this; it does not read what is on your screen.

Are my dictations and notes stored on your servers?

No. They are saved on your Mac. Audio is sent encrypted, only to be transcribed, and is not kept by us. The details, providers included, are in the privacy policy.

Is Speedy Flow certified for my industry?

No. Speedy Flow claims no certification specific to a regulated profession or to health data (HIPAA, HDS…). Check your own professional secrecy obligations before dictating sensitive information.

Can I transcribe a client meeting?

Yes, for video calls and calls made from your Mac. Nothing is recorded without your click or a schedule you set. Always inform participants and get their consent before transcribing them.

Will the technical terms of my field be spelled right?

Add them to the dictionary: they will then always be spelled right. Words you correct yourself after a dictation can also join the dictionary.

How much does it cost?

The free plan includes 4,000 dictated words per month and 3 transcribed meetings. Pro gives you unlimited words and meetings. See pricing.
