A subscription with no catch

The essentials

1. Scope

These terms of sale ("Terms of sale") apply to any subscription to a paid Speedy Flow plan from Otopcy LLC (the "publisher"), as well as to free months of Pro granted through the referral program. They supplement the terms of use ("Terms of use"). By subscribing, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. In the event of a conflict, these Terms of sale prevail for all matters relating to the sale.

2. Plans, prices, and limits

The plans, their prices, features, and usage limits are presented on the Pricing page and in the app. Those displayed at the time you subscribe are binding for the period you paid for. As of the date of this update:

• Free: 4,000 words per month and 3 meetings per month, with no payment method required.
• Pro: unlimited words and meetings, subject to reasonable use, €12 per month with no commitment, or €120 per year (that is, €10 per month).
• Teams: custom quote, with specific terms signed between the parties.

Prices are displayed in euros; depending on your country and payment method, you may be offered an equivalent amount in your local currency, and the exact amount is always shown before you confirm. The limits of the Free plan and the content of the plans may change under the conditions set out in Section 5 of the Terms of use; a change that is unfavorable to a paid plan already in progress only applies from the next period. Clearly abnormal use of the Pro plan, such as reselling it or intensive automated use, may be restricted in accordance with the Terms of use.

3. Subscribing

You subscribe online, from the app or the website, with your Speedy Flow account. Before you pay, a summary shows the plan you chose, its duration, its price including all taxes, and the renewal date. The contract is formed when your payment is confirmed; a summary email serves as your proof of purchase, and the Pro plan is activated on your account immediately.

4. Payment methods

Speedy Flow accepts:

• bank cards (debit and credit cards from the major networks);
• PayPal;
• Mobile Money, depending on the operators available in your country.

Payments are processed by specialized payment providers, on their secure pages. The publisher never sees or stores your card numbers, your PayPal credentials, or your Mobile Money codes. Your bank or operator may ask you for strong authentication (a confirmation code, or approval on your phone).

Any fees charged by your bank, PayPal, or your operator (currency conversion, commissions, transaction fees) are your responsibility and are not part of the Speedy Flow price.

5. Billing and taxes

An invoice or receipt is available for every payment. The applicable VAT or local tax is added or included depending on your country of residence and your status (individual or business). If you are a business, you can provide your VAT number or tax ID so that it appears on the invoice.

6. Term and renewal

The monthly subscription renews every month and the annual subscription every year, on the same date and at the price then in effect, until it is canceled.

• Bank card and PayPal: the renewal is charged automatically to the payment method on file.
• Mobile Money: depending on the operator, the renewal is charged automatically or you are asked to confirm the payment. Without confirmation, the subscription reverts to the Free plan at the end of the paid period, at no cost.
• Reminder: for the annual plan, a reminder is sent to you at least 7 days before renewal, or earlier if the law in your country requires it.

7. Changing plans

You can upgrade from the Free plan to Pro at any time: Pro is active as soon as you pay. You can also switch between paid options, for example from monthly to annual or the other way around. For now, this change takes effect on your next renewal date: until then, your current option remains active as is, and the amount already paid for the current period is not adjusted, deducted, or carried over.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks from the app or simply by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep the Pro plan until then, and you are then automatically moved back to the Free plan. No cancellation fee applies, and you receive an email confirming the cancellation.

Free months of Pro earned through the referral program follow the rules in Section 11. If your cancellation comes with a refund, any free months on your account are suspended as well.

9. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or a country that offers an equivalent right, you have 14 days from the date you subscribe to withdraw, without having to give a reason. All you need to do is tell us clearly by email, for example: "I am withdrawing from my Speedy Flow subscription taken out on …".

Because the service begins as soon as you subscribe, at your request, an amount proportional to the period already used may be withheld, as permitted by law. In practice, our refund policy goes further: your first subscription is refunded in full for 14 days.

10. Refunds

The cases eligible for a refund, the timeframes, and the steps to follow are detailed in the refund policy, which forms part of these Terms of sale. In short: your first Pro subscription is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of payment; billing errors are always refunded; refunds are issued to the payment method used (card, PayPal account, or Mobile Money wallet) within 14 days of approval. A refund also suspends any free months on your account (Section 11).

11. Free months and referral program

Months of Speedy Flow Pro can be earned for free through the referral program, which is reserved for app users: 1 month for the referred user who enters a code within 30 days of signing up, and 1 month for the referrer when the referred user subscribes to the paid Pro plan (first successful payment), up to a limit of 12 months per referrer. The full rules are set out in Section 10 of the Terms of use.

• Free months do not require any payment method and do not trigger any charge when they end: without a subscription, the account reverts to the Free plan.
• If you have a paid subscription, free months are kept as credit and extend your Pro access after your paid period ends; your next charge is pushed back by the same amount of time.
• Free months have no monetary value: they cannot be refunded, converted into cash or store credit, or transferred.
• If you request or receive a refund, any free months on your account are suspended as well.
• If a referred user's subscription is refunded, the month the referrer earned through that user is canceled.
• Months obtained through fraud are canceled, in accordance with the Terms of use.

12. Price changes

The publisher may change its prices. Any increase is announced to you at least 30 days in advance and only applies from the next period. If you do not accept it, simply cancel before it takes effect. A price reduction or promotion does not entitle you to a retroactive refund for the current period.

13. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we let you know and the provider retries for a few days. You can also update your payment method or choose a different one. If the payment is not settled, the subscription reverts to the Free plan. Your data stays on your computer: nothing is deleted.

14. Legal guarantee of conformity

Consumers benefit from the legal guarantees that apply to digital content and services, in particular under European Directive 2019/770 and the consumer protection laws of their country. These guarantees apply in addition to these Terms of sale. Outside of them, and to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided under the conditions described in the terms of use.

15. Business customers and teams

For business customers, the right of withdrawal does not apply, unless provided for by law. The publisher's liability is limited to the amount paid during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The specific terms of a Teams plan (number of seats, billing, term) prevail over these Terms of sale.

16. Customer service, mediation, and disputes

For any question or complaint: [email protected]. We first seek an amicable solution, within 30 days at most. Consumers in the European Union may then refer the matter to a consumer mediator free of charge. These Terms of sale are governed by the law of the country where the publisher is established, without depriving you of the mandatory protective rules of your country of residence.

17. Changes to these Terms of sale

The publisher may modify these Terms of sale. The applicable version is the one in effect on the date you subscribe or renew. Significant changes are announced to you in advance in the app or by email; if you do not accept them, you can cancel free of charge before they take effect.
